In 2011, AWSC started implementation procedures to apply for AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification. Kaohsiung Customs Office AEO validation group visited our facility for field validation on October 6 and 7, 2011, reviewed the company AEO 14 baseline and self-evaluation form, and completed full validation. AWSC has approved by the Ministry of Finance, Taipei Customs Bureau Customs AEO validation center as an Authorized Economic Operator on October 27, 2011. Kaohsiung Customs Bureau indicates, Ministry of Finance want to comply to international standards, setting a "high-quality import and export clearance of goods corporate approach", the Ministry actively promote the AEO certification system, certified enterprises can enjoy the way in addition to the provisions of the preferential measures (minimum document review, minimum testing rate, self pledged taxes and fees instead of taxes collateral, etc.), can enhance the company's reputation and image, is also to ensure the safety of international trade. The AEO certification process gives the Company opportunities to communicate and coordinate its supply chain to achieve stringent safety standards for the future goals, in the plant area, risks items are listed into the continuous improvement and audit confirmation, and the relevant departments to take the establishment of self-view and long-term safety inspection and audit mechanism. With AEO certification, in addition to operating costs, it also helps the stability of the global supply chain to provide specific contribution commitment.
