Advanced Wireless Semiconductor Company [AWSC] is the first low cost GaAs and InP HBT Foundry Service Company. We utilize 1) the most-cost effective mainstream GaAs manufacturing process technology 2) optimal process equipment and 3) device layout and material structure for both wireless and optoelectronic communication. Our goal is to provide the best quality, low cost and fast turnaround GaAs HBT Foundry Services.

AWSC offers the high reliable InGaP / GaAs HBT process for power amplifier (PA) and optoelectronic circuit designs. Our transistors have been proven with a MTBF of more than one million hours. We ensure the good PCM performance and high wafer probe yield to satisfy our customer's performance and cost requirements. We have delivered over 100 million Cellular PAs and 50 million WLAN PAs since August of 2002.Recently we start to offer GaAs PHEMT Switch, InP Power and High Speed, and GaAs PIN Diode Foundry processes.

Our class-100 Fab facility has overall capacity of 1200 4-inch wafers start per week currently and the capacity will increased to 2000 wafer start per week by the end of 2006. It includes both HBT/pHEMT front-side process and TWV backside process.

AWSC was founded in April of 1998 and located at Tainan Science-Based Industrial Park in Taiwan. We demonstrated the first yielded GaAs HBT device wafer in July 1999. Now we have total employees of 350 with various technical and production backgrounds. Our foundry service group provides you the design manual with both device layout rules and design models.

AWSC is an ISO-9001 (Year 2000 version) and ISO-14001 certified Semiconductor Company. The quality and process control is our top management philosophy. We continuously work on the process improvement and cost reduction. Our goal is to become a world class GaAs and InP Foundry Company.
