 AWSC
provides the wafer foundry service for the applications
of wireless communication such as digital cellular and PCS
phones. AWSC is now having 4-inch GaAs HBT FAB 1A with capacity
to produce 400-600 wafer starts per week and will construct
FAB 1B in summer 2000. By the end of year 2000, total capacity
will reach more than 1,200 wafer starts per week. As a Foundry,
AWSC provides the standard cell library and design manual.
Device modeling and layout rules are included. Besides the
wafer processing we also provide the wafer thinning and
chip separation related services. We have a strong RF supporting
group to interface with customers.
